Public Meeting on St. Louis Road Speed Management Study Dec. 3
Loudoun County is hosting a public input meeting on Dec. 3, on the Speed Management Study of St. Louis Road (Route 611) within the village of St. Louis. The purpose of this study is to assess existing travel speeds on St. Louis Road and recommend speed management countermeasures, where applicable, to encourage motorists to comply with the posted speed limit to enhance safety along the corridor.
The St. Louis Road Speed Management Study public input meeting will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m., at Banneker Elementary School, 35231 Snake Hill Road, in Middleburg. Parking is available on-site.
Residents may provide input at the meeting or through the online comment form that will be available at loudoun.gov/StLouisSpeedStudy following the December 3 meeting. All comments must be received by Dec. 17. Comments will be shared with the Board of Supervisors. For those without access to the internet, comments may be provided by phone at 703-737-8624.
This speed study is being conducted as a result of feedback gathered during the drafting of the St. Louis Village Plan, which was approved by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors on September 10, 2025. During this process, concerns were raised about speeding along St. Louis Road and Snake Hill Road (Route 744) within the village of St. Louis.
