The forum will feature breakout sessions with subject matter experts where members of the public may learn about ongoing activities in the areas of energy and the environment and provide comments. Topics include:

  • Electric Vehicles
  • Environmental Careers
  • Everyday Home Energy Savings
  • Invasive Plants
  • Solar Energy
  • Tree Selection
  • Watersheds

In addition, the forum will feature a listening session to hear from the community about what Loudoun should be working on with respect to environmental and energy sustainability matters.

The annual forum provides members of the public with the opportunity to learn more about energy and environmental topics and provide comments on what the county’s role should be regarding environmental and energy sustainability. The public’s comments will be shared with the Board of Supervisors during the Environmental Commission’s annual update to the Board.
