Early voting opportunities for Nov. 4 election expand Oct. 20

Loudoun County election officials remind voters that early voting opportunities for the Nov. 4, general election will expand beginning Oct. 20 to include Saturdays, extended hours and satellite locations.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 20, the Office of Elections and Voter Registration in Leesburg will offer extended hours and Saturday voting. Additional early voting sites also will be in operation beginning Oct. 20, Monday through Saturday, through Nov. 1, which is the last day to vote early in person.

The satellite voting locations are Ashburn Recreation and Community Center in Ashburn, Carver Senior Center in Purcellville, Claude Moore Recreation Center in Sterling and Dulles South Recreation Center in South Riding. Exact dates, times and locations are posted at loudoun.gov/VoteEarly.

Deadlines for Voter Registration/Voting by Mail
The deadline to register to vote a non-provisional ballot in the Nov.4 election or to update current voter registration information is Friday, Oct. 24. Voters may register up to and on election day and vote a provisional ballot. Information about Same-Day Voter Registration is available from the Virginia Department of Elections.

Oct. 24 is also the last day to request a ballot by mail. More information on the process is online at loudoun.gov/VoteByMail.

What’s on the Ballot
Offices on the Nov. 4, general election ballot in Loudoun County include the Virginia governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general; seats in the Virginia House of Delegates; mayors and town council members in Middleburg and Round Hill; and members of the Loudoun County School Board for the Algonkian, Broad Run, Dulles, Leesburg and Sterling Districts (Note: The School Board has moved to staggered terms, so only five of the nine seats are up for election in 2025.) Three county government bond questions will also be on the ballot.
