Two Baltimore teens charged in overnight commercial burglary
Two juvenile teens of Baltimore, Maryland, have each been charged with breaking and entering and possession of burglarious tools by the Leesburg Police Department in relation to an overnight burglary at the Tobacco King and Vape shop.
This morning at shortly after 3 a.m., Leesburg Police dispatchers were notified of a burglary in progress at Tobacco King and Vape, located in the 700 block of Fieldstone Drive NE. Leesburg Police officers immediately responded, however the suspects had fled prior to law enforcement’s arrival. Officers observed that the front plate glass door had been smashed and that the cash register tray and merchandise had been stolen in the burglary. It was additionally determined that the suspects fled the scene in a red Kia sedan.
Shortly after the burglary was reported to LPD, a Virginia State Trooper attempted to stop a red Kia sedan on Rt. 7 in Ashburn for excessive speed. The vehicle failed to stop for the trooper and instead sped away in excess of 100 mph. VSP pursued the vehicle and ultimately stopped it on Rt. 7 near I-495, where troopers apprehended the driver and a passenger. There were no reported injuries to law enforcement or to the juveniles taken into custody.
A subsequent joint LPD/VSP investigation determined that the driver and passenger were responsible for the Leesburg burglary.

Both juveniles are being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center on charges obtained by the Leesburg Police Department and Virginia State Police.
