Sessions available for real estate and vehicle tax relief program

Loudoun County Commissioner of the Revenue Robert S. Wertz Jr. has scheduled free informational sessions to familiarize residents who are 65 years or older, or are totally and permanently disabled, with the county’s real estate and vehicle tax relief programs.

Loudoun County residents who are 65 or older, or are disabled, and have income and wealth below established limits may benefit from a reduction in the amount of property taxes they pay. In 2025, program participants saved over $9 million in real estate and vehicle property taxes.

To learn more about this tax relief program, residents are encouraged to attend one of the free sessions being offered throughout the county. No appointment or RSVP is required. All sessions begin at 10:30 a.m. Note that the March 3, seminar, will be presented only in Spanish.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, Feb. 23: Purcellville Library, 220 East Main St., Purcellville
  • Wednesday, Feb. 25: Cascades Library, 21030 Whitfield Place, Potomac Falls

  • Monday, March 2: Rust Library, 380 Old Waterford Road NW, Leesburg
