Mother and daughter charged in shoplifting spree

Lucy Lamb, 57, and Landon Lamb, 22, both of Alexandria, Virginia, have each been charged with five counts of misdemeanor shoplifting.

On Monday afternoon, Feb. 12, the Leesburg Police Department received a report of a shoplifting that had just occurred at the Leesburg Premium Outlets involving two females.

Leesburg Police Officers responded and located the two suspects, Lucy and Landon Lamb at their vehicle in the mall’s parking lot. Through an investigation, it was determined that Lucy and Landon had stolen merchandise from multiple retail locations both at the Leesburg Premium Outlets and at a nearby shopping center. Recovered stolen items included clothing, household goods, and pet supplies with a combined total value in excess of $1,500.

Lucy and Landon were each arrested and charged with five counts of shoplifting. They were both transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where each was released on an unsecured bond.
