FBI Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Task Force executes federal search warrant in Leesburg

In the morning of Feb. 23, the FBI Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Task Force executed a federal search warrant related to their investigation, at a residence in the Crestwood Hamlet neighborhood in southwest Leesburg. 

The federal case originated from a Leesburg Police Department Criminal Investigation Section investigation, but had previously been turned over to the Task Force for further investigation. 

The search warrant is isolated to a specific residence, and there is no danger to the community. Any further information about this investigation will be released by the FBI.
