Celebrate Earth Day April 25 at Franklin Park
Celebrate our planet at the Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services annual Earth Day Loudoun on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Franklin Park, located 17501 Franklin Park Drive, in Purcellville.
Earth Day Loudoun is a free, family-friendly festival with games, music, food, and more. Residents are invited to learn about environmental issues through hands-on activities and nature-themed crafts. Meet local scientists, farmers, environmentally conscious vendors, and activists to learn about their efforts to preserve the environment. Educational performances, live ambassador animals, and nature crafts will make for fun experiences that inspire a future of conservation. No registration is required.
More information about Earth Day Loudoun, including event attractions, entertainment details, and available food for purchase, can be found on the PRCS website at loudoun.gov/EarthDayLoudoun.
Earth Day Loudoun will be hosted rain or shine. In the case of severe weather, a cancellation notice will be posted on the Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services and the Franklin Park Facebook pages.
