Business focus on Middleburg Books

The Blue Ridge Leader was in Middleburg Tuesday getting a tour of the new Middleburg Books, open now for 12 weeks. The owner herself showed us around and her enthusiasm, especially for children’s books, was contagious. We saw Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and many other Christmas books for all ages.

Mary Beth Morrell and Christina Duffy co-founded the store out of a need and love for wanting to have an independent bookstore.

On Jan. 3, 2024 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Middleburg Books will present “Conflict: An Evening With General David H. Petraeus and Michael Morell.” The event will be held at the Middleburg American Legion, where these distinguished guests will discuss General Petraeus’s latest book, “Conflict: The Evolution of Warfare from 1945 to Ukraine.”

The event is free and you can register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/conflict-an-evening- with-general-david-h-petraeus-and-michael-morell-tickets-774456108067?aff=oddtdtcreator.
