Panera Bread opens in Purcellville on Feb. 5

Panera Bread to open on Wednesday, Feb. 5, in Purcellville. The new bakery-cafe will be opening its doors at 1210 Wolf Rock Drive and the hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The new location will employ 55-60 people.

While the new location marks the first Panera in Purcellville, it joins 5 other locations in Loudon County, and marks the 83rd Panera in the Washington D.C. area.

The new bakery-cafe features digital ordering, drive thru and mobile pick-up lane convenience, ideal for order-ahead, as well as indoor and outdoor seating for guests.

To celebrate the new location, on opening day Feb. 5, beginning at 6 a.m., the first 100 guests will receive a year’s worth of free “Your Pick Two®” meals.” A You Pick Two® allows guests to select any combination of two half size entrees from the Panera Bread menu including soups, salads, sandwiches and more.

To celebrate the new location for a limited time (beginning opening day through Feb. 5, 2026), local nonprofit organizations, including schools, sports teams, scout groups and more can host a fundraising event at the new Purcellville location and Panera will donate 30% of the net sales from the event back to the organization.

Minimum sales requirement of $150 to receive donation of 30% of net sales. Only at participating US Panera cafes owned by Panera, LLC. Not valid at cafes operated by franchisees. Fundraising event details and available dates and times for fundraising events will vary by bakery-cafe. Gift card purchases, catering orders, and orders placed on third party delivery sites are excluded and will not count towards the total net sales from the designated fundraising event. Restrictions may apply. For more information on how our fundraising events work, visit https://fundraising.panerabread.com/faq. This initiative is an extension of Panera’s existing Fundraising Night program but with a higher give-back during this window.

Area Operating Partner, Dean Turner said, “We are thrilled to be opening our second Panera bakery-cafe in Purcellville. We are proud to be a part of this wonderful community and look forward to delivering the great tasting food and impeccable service our local guests have come to expect from Panera.”
