Community forum on fentanyl and opioid awareness May 30 at Ida Lee

Leesburg School Board member Lauren Shernoff, Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk, and Leesburg Supervisor Kristen Umstattd are co-hosting a community forum on fentanyl and opioid awareness from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 30 at the Ida Lee Recreation Center in the lower level.

There will be a 4-person panel with a representative from LCPS, the County’s Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, the Leesburg Police Department, and The Williams Center for Wellness and Recovery.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is invited to attend along with several local nonprofits who work in this field. There will be information for the public at tables nearby as well. All are invited to attend.
