Leesburg Police Dispatcher retires after decades of public service

The Leesburg Police Department would like to congratulate Melissa “Missy” Krise on her retirement.

Krise began her career as a dispatcher in February 1988 with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, where she served for more than fifteen years. She later joined the Leesburg Police Department in February 2010, where she served until her retirement.

During her career, Krise has been an integral part of the Leesburg and Loudoun communities, providing essential support to law enforcement officers and dispatching resources efficiently during emergencies. Her contributions have undoubtedly made a lasting impact on the communities she has served.

As Krise embarks on this new chapter of her life, she leaves behind a legacy of professionalism, compassion, and service excellence. Her colleagues and the community alike extend their deepest gratitude for her years of selfless dedication and wish her a well-deserved and fulfilling retirement.
