LCPS kicks off Instructional Awards program

Loudoun County Public Schools is officially kicking off its Instructional Awards program, which contains five categories and includes four brand-new awards. This means that all school-based employees are now eligible to be nominated for an award!  

This year’s Instructional Awards position categories include:

• Professional Employee of the Year
• Administrative Support Employee of the Year
• Instructional Support Employee of the Year
• Student Services Support Employee of the Year
• Substitute of the Year

LCPS Operational Awards
This is also a reminder about nominations for the LCPS Operational Awards, which is in addition to the LCPS Instructional Awards. A complete list of eligible positions within each category can be found at: LCPS Operational Awards Eligibility

Nomination Rules
Nominations can be submitted by staff, parents, students and/or community members for an outstanding employee based on their exemplary performance. Self-nominations will not be accepted. A selection committee composed of current LCPS staff and community members will review nomination materials and use a standardized rubric to determine winners. Performance and past evaluations will be considered.
