Leesburg tree lighting ceremony, Dec. 2

The Town of Leesburg will hold this year’s holiday tree lighting ceremony on the Town Green located at 25 W Market Street, on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.

The event will feature holiday music from local musicians Todd Wright, Cal Everett, and Gary Smallwood. There will also be holiday characters for great photo opportunities and a special message from Mayor Kelly Burk.

During the event, W. Market Street will be closed from Wirt to King streets. Traffic exiting the Town Hall parking garage will be allowed to go east on W. Market Street or exit on Loudoun Street.
