Virtual Public Meeting on Rt. 15/Braddock Road Roundabout May 11

Loudoun County is hosting an online public meeting to gain input from the public on the Rt. 15 and Braddock Road Roundabout project. This project will design and construct a four-legged roundabout at the intersection of Rt. 15 (James Monroe Highway), Braddock Road (Rt. 705), and Old Carolina Road (Rt. 615).

The virtual public meeting will be held online on Monday, May 11, at 6 p.m. Login information and meeting materials are available for review at loudoun.gov/Route15Roundabout. Meeting materials will include a presentation posted following the meeting, an exhibit and comment form.

Members of the public must sign up in advance by 12 p.m., Friday, May 8, to verbally ask questions during the meeting. Online participants may also ask questions to the project team during the meeting through Q&A messages.

Comments will be accepted through the comment form found on the project webpage through Friday, May 29. Comments will be shared with the design and construction teams and the Board of Supervisors. For those without access to the internet, comments may be provided by phone at 703-737-8624.

The project is funded through a combination of local, state, and federal funds including Regional Surface Transportation Program funds allocated through the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority and the Virginia Department of Transportation; Virginia’s Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality funds allocated through NVTA and VDOT; Smart Scale funding, administered by VDOT; and NVTA 70% Regional Funding.
