VEG ER for Pets opens emergency vet hospital in Leesburg
VEG ER for Pets, the world’s veterinary emergency company that helps people and their pets when they need it most, has opened in Leesburg at 516 Fort Evans Rd NE in Leesburg. They provide families in Leesburg, Loudoun County, and neighboring areas like Ashburn, Purcellville, and Sterling, with emergency veterinary care, including surgeries, ultrasounds, x-rays and more.
“Our mission has always been to help people and their pets when they need it most,” said Dr. David Bessler, Founder and CEO of VEG ER for Pets. “Opening in Leesburg allows us to do exactly that, by providing 24/7 emergency care that treats the whole family with compassion and transparency.”
VEG ER for Pets provides veterinary emergency services and has adopted a model that allows pet owners to speak directly with a licensed veterinarian when they call with medical questions. Upon arrival, triage begins immediately, before paperwork is completed. Pet owners are permitted to remain with their pets during treatment, including surgery and overnight hospitalization.
The VEG ER for Pets location in Leesburg is open 24 hours a day, including holidays. The hospital features an open floor plan designed to allow pet owners to remain involved during their pet’s care.
The company also operates VEG Cares, an initiative that assists underserved pets in crisis, and provides scholarships to Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students. More information is available at veg.com.
