Turneysville Rd. closure in Loudoun Heights Aug. 16-19
Replacement of bridge over Piney Run
Turneysville Road (Rt. 833) will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 to 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19 to replace the bridge over Piney Run just west of Harpers Ferry Road (Rt. 671), according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Despite the closure, access will be maintained for emergency personnel and others needing to reach properties along Turneysville Road.
In addition, Harpers Ferry Road will have one lane of alternating traffic via flagging in the area of Turneysville Road from 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 to 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 to accommodate delivery of the new bridge materials.
