The Legend of Sleepy Hollow comes to life at Franklin Park Arts Center

invites audiences to experience The Legend of Sleepy Hollow—a classic, family-friendly tale that’s the perfect way to kick off the Halloween season.

Opening Friday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at Franklin Park Arts Center, this limited-run production features four performances only:

  • Friday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m.

Directed by Diego De La Espriella, this captivating production brings to life Washington Irving’s timeless tale through John Heimbuch’s clever adaptation. Audiences will be transported to the quiet village of Sleepy Hollow, where schoolmaster Ichabod Crane, the spirited Katrina Van Tassel, and the mischievous Brom Bones find themselves entangled in a haunting story of love, rivalry, and mystery.

With imaginative staging and dynamic performances, the cast and crew capture the eerie charm of the Headless Horseman and the unforgettable residents of Sleepy Hollow. This engaging production offers a delightful blend of humor, suspense, and seasonal spirit—perfect for audiences of all ages.
