Swearing In Ceremony

Bob Anderson used his late wife’s Bible while taking the oath of office for the Commonwealth’s Attorney Dec. 4th at the old Courthouse in Leesburg. In a touching sentiment, he spoke about his wife, Mary, saying he was sure she would be pleased looking down on him and his family and that he talks to her daily. “She was a pillar” of the family, he said. His granddaughter, Kaylee Ducharme, 17, held the Bible for him as he took the oath, and his children and younger grandchildren watched with pride as he began his new term.
