Spooktacular fun awaits at Purcellville’s Halloween Party in Dillon’s Woods
Get ready for a frightfully fun evening in the heart of Purcellville. On Friday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m., Dillon’s Woods, located at 250 S. Nursery Avenue, will be transformed into a Halloween haven for all ages—and everyone is invited.
Hosted under the twinkling trees and crisp autumn skies, this not-so-spooky celebration will feature live music by local favorite Savash, a festive vendor village, delicious eats, and plenty of treats for everyone. Whether you’re craving Mediterranean flavors, tacos, fresh waffles, or fizzy fun from the Splash Soda pop-up shop, there’s something tasty waiting just for you.
For the adults, Hillsborough Winery will be on site pouring their finest wine for sipping under the stars, alongside beer, cider provided by American Legion Post 293.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help organize and run this year’s Purcellville Town Halloween Party. The support from the Town of Purcellville, local businesses, and community volunteers has been truly inspiring. After living here for the past six years, I’ve grown to deeply love this town and the people who make it so special. I’m thrilled to help bring everyone together for a fun, safe, and memorable evening in Dillon’s Woods,” said organizer Tami Nelson—who lives and works in the Town of Purcellville.
Come in Costume
The evening kicks off with a costume contest from 5–6 p.m. for three age groups: infants, youth, and adults—with cash prizes for the winners. So dig out, or make, those creative costumes and bring your best spooky, silly, creative, or sensational looks.
