Site design meeting for Western Loudoun Recreation Complex on June 27

Loudoun County invites members of the public to attend a public information meeting to review site design concepts for the Western Loudoun Recreation Complex in Purcellville. The Western Loudoun Recreation Complex project includes the design and construction of a new 83,000-squre-foot recreation facility with an aquatics center, and a park with up to ten athletic fields on a 142.71-acre site.

The public information meeting will be held Thursday, June 27, from 6 to 7 p.m., at Harmony Middle School, 38174 W. Colonial Highway in Hamilton. The purpose of this meeting is to review site design concepts based on feedback received from residents during the May 6, 2024, public information meeting. Following the presentation, attendees will be able to review design concepts, provide additional feedback, and ask questions about the project.

Residents have the opportunity to provide input on the design of the future complex during the meeting on a provided comment form; through the online comment form at loudoun.gov/westernloudounrecreation; by mail to Sean Haislip, Loudoun County Department of
Transportation and Capital Infrastructure, PO Box 7500, Leesburg, Va, 20177; or by email at dtci@loudoun.gov. All comments from this meeting must be received by July 11, 2024. Please reference “Western Loudoun Recreation Complex” in the subject line.
