On October 7, candidates for Purcellville Town Council participated in a forum at Franklin Park Arts Center. All candidates had initially agreed on the date, and the location was changed as the lighting and sound system for eight candidates were better at Franklin Park Arts Center.

The Milan team didn’t show and didn’t notify anyone they weren’t attending. Instead, 72 hours before the forum the Milan team announced their own forum, although Milan attended the BRL forum an hour into the event. The following are the opening remarks by Town Council candidate Ben Nett.
