Loudoun Habitat for Humanity to host fourteenth annual Raise the Roof Gala
Loudoun Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce its annual Raise the Roof Gala to help raise money for Habitat Humanity’s new construction projects and home repair program.
The elegant black-tie event will be held on March 1 st from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly.
Join Loudon Habitat for Humanity for a night of dancing, philanthropy, and fine dining as they mix fun and fundraising. All proceeds will go toward finishing the Prince Street Duplex project in Leesburg and Loudon Habitat’s home repair program.
Loudoun Habitat Gala Manager Amy Hassall said this event is a fun night for a great local cause.
“We have been doing this event for fourteen years now, and it just gets bigger and bigger,” Hassall said. “The best part is that all the funds we raise will stay in Loudon County. This event is all about local money helping local people.”
Over 400 guests are expected to attend the Gala, which has over 25 event sponsors. This year’s Carter Legacy Sponsor is Southland Industries, which contributed over $50,000 to Loudon Habitat for Humanity.
“With help from the community and our sponsors, the Gala has grown into a very elegant and upscale event while maintaining a fun party atmosphere,” Hassall said.
The Gala will feature a seated dinner, open bar, and live band. There will also be a silent and live auction featuring a trip to Tuscany provided by Philantopia, A trip to Turkey provided by Turkish Airlines, a private chef experience from Fleur De Cuisine, signed sports memorabilia, and much more.
