Loudoun Government Center Parking Garage evening work until Nov. 15

Loudoun County advises anyone planning to use the Loudoun County Government Center parking garage during evening hours of upcoming repair and maintenance work began Nov. 4. The work will
temporarily impact some visitor parking places and stairwells between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Vehicles in the impacted parking spaces must be moved by 10 p.m. on the evenings posted. All impacted spaces will be clearly marked with the dates of work indicated. During this two-week project, members of the public are advised to use extra caution in the garage and follow all posted signage and flaggers when moving through the Government Center parking garage.

The work is scheduled through Friday, Nov. 15. The work will largely occur outside of business hours between the overnight hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and is expected to have minimal impact on Government Center operations and the public’s use of the garage.  On evenings when public meetings
are in progress inside the Government Center, the work will begin after the meeting concludes.

The garage will remain open to the public throughout the duration of the project. Accessible parking spaces and the use of the garage by the public on weekends will not be impacted. The garage’s elevator will remain operational at all times. County policy prohibits overnight parking in the Government Center parking garage. More information about planning your trip to the Government Center is online.
