Loudoun County firefighters participate in 2020 online Toys for Tots campaign

The Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System and the Loudoun Career Firefighters Association are pleased to announce their participation in the 73rd Annual Toys for Tots Campaign.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Loudoun County Toys for Tots coordinators have adapted their 2020 campaign to continue providing toys to local children in need while avoiding unnecessary safety risks. This year, rather than collecting toys at local firehouses, Loudoun County Toys for Tots representatives will be purchasing toys with funds donated online and shipping them directly to the children.

“Our firefighters are proud to carry on the tradition of providing holiday spirit to less fortunate children across our region” states System Chief Keith H. Johnson. “Although our collection efforts look a little different this year as we focus on online donations, I am confident the generosity of Loudoun’s residents will brighten this holiday season for many children.”

To donate online:

Visit the local Loudoun County Toys for Tots website, https://loudoun-va.toysfortots.org and click on the “Donate Local” red button on the top right of the home page.

To donate by check, make check payable to “Toys for Tots” and mail to:
