Loudoun accepting applications for rental apartments

The Loudoun County Unmet Housing Needs Unit Midway Rental Program is accepting applications for rental units. The program provides opportunities for individuals and families to rent units from participating apartment complexes at a lower-than-market rental price in select communities throughout Loudoun County.

Through the Midway Rental Program, there are units available at The William apartment complex in South Riding for households earning in the mid-range of the Area Median Income, or between 50 – 80% of the AMI, based on household size. For a household of one, 50-80% of the AMI is between $57,400 – $91,850, and for a household of four, 50-80% of the AMI is between $81,950 – $131,150. Average rental rates at The William range from approximately $1,722 to $2,558 depending on the type and size of the unit, not including the cost of utilities.    

Applicants are subject to certain income and credit requirements, which are administered by the Loudoun County Department of Housing and Community Development.
