Leesburg Police investigating stabbing

The Leesburg Police Department is investigating an incident involving an adult male suffering from a stab wound.

Last evening, shortly before 7 p.m., the Leesburg Police Department responded to a business in the 500 block of East Market Street, for a report of a male suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen.

The male reported that while in the parking lot, he was stabbed. No suspect description was provided to officers. The subject was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries.
