Leesburg Police investigating armed robbery at Sheetz

The Leesburg Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred early morning on May 18, at the Sheetz convenience store at 6011 California Drive NE.

At approximately 1:10 a.m., two unidentified suspects entered the store, displayed weapons, and demanded money from store employees. The suspects obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and items before fleeing the scene. Both suspects were wearing dark colored clothing and masks at the time of the robbery.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
