Leesburg Police Charge Area Man with Rape of a Juvenile
The Leesburg Police Department has charged an area man in connection with the rape of a juvenile that occurred earlier this year.
The assault took place in February 2025 and was reported to the Leesburg Police Department in May 2025. The investigation revealed that the assault occurred at a residence in the 0 block of Heritage
Way NE, Leesburg.
Following a thorough investigation by Leesburg Police Department detectives, Alex Omar Lozano Martinez, 45, of Leesburg, Virginia, was arrested on June 27, and charged with rape, forcible sodomy, abduction with intent to defile, and solicitation of a minor. Lozano Martinez was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
Additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues. Due to the sensitive nature of this case and to protect the identity of the victim, no further information will be released at this time.
