Leesburg man charged with possession of child pornography

The Leesburg Police Department has arrested Luke Mulligan, 42, of Leesburg, charging him with two counts of possession of child pornography following an extensive investigation.

Detectives from the Leesburg Police Department arrested Mulligan and executed a search warrant on March 14, with the assistance of multiple agencies, in the 600 block of Rockbridge Drive, SE. The warrant was obtained after a thorough investigation stemming from the discovery of sexually explicit material involving juveniles on an electronic device owned by Mulligan.

Mulligan was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where he remains held on no bond, and additional charges are anticipated.
