Leesburg Celebrates Local Excellence at 2025 Business Awards

Community spirit and entrepreneurial excellence were on full display on May 7, as Leesburg honored its standout businesses and leaders at the annual Leesburg Business Awards. Hosted by the Leesburg Economic Development Commission, the event was held at The Depot, the newly opened event space by The Building People.

Mayor Kelly Burk, members of the Leesburg Town Council, and local business leaders gathered to celebrate the achievements of those making a lasting impact on the town’s economy and culture.

This year, 24 businesses, non-profits, and individuals were nominated across five award categories. Here’s a look at the winners and their contributions:

Arts and Culture Award

New/Expanding Business Award

Non-Profit/Philanthropic Award
Winner: Community Foundation for Loudoun & Northern Fauquier Counties
Honored for its unwavering commitment to improving lives, the Foundation was recognized for providing vital support to residents and businesses alike. Their leadership in philanthropy is a cornerstone of Leesburg’s community fabric.

George C. Marshall Award
Winners: Breanne Grant & Cheryl Strasser
This prestigious award went to two exceptional individuals whose leadership, vision, and service reflect the enduring legacy of George C. Marshall. Their dedication has inspired many across Leesburg and beyond.

People’s Choice Award
