LCSO investigating robbery and stabbing in Sterling

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery and stabbing that occurred Tuesday evening in Sterling.

On Dec.12, at approximately 7:45 p.m., deputies responded to the 24600 block of Pantzlaff Farm Terrace in Sterling for a report of an adult male who was robbed. Upon arriving, deputies learned that a physical altercation had taken place, and the suspect stabbed the victim and took his cell phone before fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries. Preliminary findings indicate that this was not a random act, and the incident is under investigation.

The suspect is described as a Black male in his 20s, approximately 6’0, with a thin build, and dreadlocks, wearing a black jacket, and driving a grey sedan.

The LCSO is asking anyone who was in the area and may have seen anything to please contact Detective T. Rodriguez with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-1021. Callers wishing to remain anonymous are asked to call Loudoun County Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919 or submit a tip through the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office app.
