LCSO investigating fatal motorcycle crash

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on Saturday. 

On Saturday, Oct. 7, at approximately 3:26 p.m., deputies responded to a crash in the 19200 block of Harmony Church Road in Hamilton involving a motorcycle and a van. The investigation revealed that the motorcyclist crossed a double yellow line and was attempting to pass multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed when the driver of the van made a left turn into a residential driveway.  The motorcyclist struck the left front side quarter panel of the van.   

The motorcycle operator, Jorge Seminario, 65, of Florida, was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The driver of the van was not injured.
