LCSO investigating attempted robbery on Cascades Parkway

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the attempted robbery of a 7-Eleven on Cascades Parkway.

Shortly before 3 a.m. Jan 13, the suspect entered the convenience store in the 21900 block of Cascades Parkway where a suspect entered the store and displayed a handgun. The suspect demanded cash. The clerk attempted to open the register multiple times before the suspect fled.

As deputies canvassed the area an employee at another 7-Eleven said the same possible suspect attempted to enter the store on W. Church Road but the doors were locked for security purposes.

The suspect is described by witnesses as being white or Hispanic, 5’6” tall, and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black sneakers with white soles, gloves and was wearing a mask.

Anyone with any information regarding the possible identity of the suspect is asked to contact Detective R. Reed at 703-777-1021.
