LCSO arrests two juveniles in connection with armed robberies in Sterling
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two juvenile males following an investigation into armed robberies at two 7-Eleven locations in Sterling, including an incident that occurred in the early morning of Nov. 4.
Deputies responded to an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 46580 South Cottage Road at approximately 3:45 a.m. on Nov. 4. Two suspects armed with knives were reported to have entered the store, threatened employees, and demanded cash from the register before fleeing the scene.
LCSO detectives linked those suspects to a similar armed robbery that occurred at approximately 2 a.m. on Oct. 21, at the 7-Eleven at 46141 Woodshire Drive in Sterling. Both incidents involved armed suspects threatening store employees. No victims were injured in either incident.
The juveniles have each been charged with two counts of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, two counts of Robbery, and two counts of Abduction in connection with both robberies. Both are currently detained at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.
