Keep Leesburg Beautiful kickoff event

The Town of Leesburg’s Environmental Advisory Commission invites the Leesburg community to participate in a “Keep Leesburg Beautiful” spring cleanup on Earth Day, which is observed on Saturday, April 22 at 10 a.m. The event will take place at Raflo Park, 345 Harrison Street, SE. Keep Leesburg Beautiful offers opportunities for individuals and groups to be involved in litter collection and other activities to improve the appearance and environmental quality of the Town of Leesburg.

For litter collection efforts, the Town provides supplies (trash bags, gloves, and safety vests) and collects filled bags from the roadsides. Interested persons can register to participate, select collection areas, and receive supplies at the kickoff event.
