Juan Pablo Segura joins Fauquier Sheriff’s Office on ride-along
Dear Editor:
I’m writing today about a recent ride-along I did with the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office during their patrols in order to demonstrate my strong support for law enforcement and my focus on public safety.
My campaign platform is centered on public safety — in contrast to my opponent, who has celebrated receiving the endorsement of multiple groups that explicitly support Defunding the Police.
People in this district deserve to feel safe, which is why I’m such a strong supporter of our local law enforcement.
There’s a clear difference in this race: my opponent is excited about receiving endorsements from groups that want to defund the police, and I’m excited about receiving endorsements from the Loudoun County Sheriff, the Fauquier County Sheriff, and the Virginia Police Benevolent Association.
I appreciate the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office taking me out to look at how they’re keeping us safe every day, and I pledge to be a strong partner and a clear voice in support of their mission.
Fauquier County Sheriff Jeremy Falls is a great partner and is working hard to keep everyone safe.
He recently said the following: “I appreciate Juan Pablo’s dedication to keeping his district safe — we need strong partners like him, which is why I endorsed his candidacy. Early voting begins soon, so if you’re concerned about safety and security, vote for Juan Pablo as soon as you can!” I deeply appreciate his support.
This fall, public safety is on the ballot. As Sheriff Falls said, please remember that early voting is coming up quickly, so go vote!
Juan Pablo Segura
Candidate for Virginia Senate District 31
