Inova Blood Donor Services announces upcoming blood drives

Inova Blood Donor Services is calling on the community to help save lives by donating blood this holiday season. Blood donations are essential year-round, but as the holidays approach, supplies often run low. Inova invites donors throughout Loudoun County to participate in several upcoming drives or to visit the Inova Dulles Donor Center open seven days a week for added convenience.

“In every season, local patients depend on the generosity of blood donors,” said Nicholas Lilly, MBA, B+, Senior Director, Inova Blood Donor Services. “Whether you roll up your sleeve at one of our community drives or stop by our Dulles Donor Center, every donation makes a life-saving difference.”

This year marks 60 years of IBDS supporting patients and saving lives in the DC area. To honor the IBDS 60th anniversary, the goal is to collect 60,000 blood donations this year. Meeting this goal will significantly impact local patients, providing the critical blood products they need to survive.
