Fallen Firefighter Trevor Brown remembered by thousands from all over the country

On Monday March 4, thousands came to Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg to remember Firefighter Trevor Brown who lost his life in the line of duty on Feb. 16.

According to Gov. Glenn Youngkin flag order, flags of the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Virginia were ordered to be “flown at half-staff on all state and local buildings and grounds in the Commonwealth of Virginia in memory and respect of Sterling Volunteer Firefighter Trevor Brown, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on February 16, 2024.”

Speakers at Brown’s Celebration of Life Service were Chaplain Jim Jones and Chaplain Ron Stewart both of the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company, Gov. Glenn Youngkin, Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Chair Phyllis Randall, Former Sterling Volunteer Fire Company Chief Thomas Owens, Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System Chief Keith Johnson, Trevor Brown’s father Thomas Brown, and Sterling Volunteer Fire Company Fire Chief David Short.
