Expanded hours for LCPL branches open Sundays begin Jan. 4

Effective Sunday, Jan. 4, Loudoun County Public Library will welcome customers into seven branches 2½ hours earlier on Sunday mornings, opening at 9:30 a.m. instead of noon.

The additional hours apply to branches that are already open Sundays — Ashburn, Brambleton, Cascades, Gum Spring, Purcellville, Rust and Sterling libraries. Branches that are closed on Sundays will maintain their current schedules, with the Law Library open Monday through Friday, and Lovettsville and Middleburg libraries open Monday through Saturday.

“We’re excited to start serving the public earlier on Sundays,” said Chang Liu, Director of LCPL. “This is something our customers requested, and we are happy to be able to accommodate them.”
