Authorities Investigating Bank Robbery in Middleburg

The Middleburg Police Department and the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a robbery that occurred this afternoon at the Truist Bank located at 202 W. Washington Street.

During the incident, the suspect displayed a weapon. As a precaution, the building and surrounding area were searched and have been deemed safe.

This remains an active investigation, and no additional details are available at this time. The Middleburg Police Department has requested that the LCSO take the lead on the investigation.
