Ashburn homicide suspect in LCSO custody

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has Rashaun D. Owens in custody. On Feb. 26, Owens turned himself in at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. He is charged with 2nd Degree Murder, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, and Attempted Robbery with a Firearm.

Owens was wanted in connection with the investigation of a homicide in Ashburn on Feb. 14. The victim, Michai Dandridge-Carter, 19, of Sterling, had a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on the scene.
