LCSO investigating shots fired at vehicle in Sterling

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting along Davis Drive in Sterling, where a subject discharged a firearm at a vehicle. There were no injuries reported.

The victim reported the incident to law enforcement shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday night, Feb. 15, and it was determined the shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. 

The driver reported he and a friend were in a parking lot along Davis Drive when he says they heard gunfire and saw an unknown subject approaching his vehicle. The driver sped away, and the subject discharged several rounds at his vehicle. The vehicle and two other vehicles parked in the area were damaged during the incident.

The subject was only described as being approximately 6’2” tall, 225 pounds, wearing all black with a black facemask. 

The circumstances that led up to the shooting remain under investigation.
