BOS & Planning Commission to Hold Joint Special Meeting June 30
The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and the Loudoun County Planning Commission are scheduled to hold a joint special business meeting, Tuesday, June 30, at 5:00 p.m. in the Loudoun County Government Center, 1 Harrison St. SE, Leesburg. The meeting will be held in the Dulles Room, which is located on the first floor of the building.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide a forum for discussion of various types of initiatives that typically come through the Planning Commission to the Board, such as comprehensive plan and zoning ordinance amendments, legislative applications, and a broad range of special projects that are currently before both the Board and Planning Commission. The two bodies are also expected to discuss processes for making recommendations and decisions.
While the meeting is largely intended to be a working discussion between the Board and Commission, the meeting involves a discussion of county business and therefore is open to the public. The meeting will be televised on:
- Comcast Government Channel 1075
- Verizon FiOS Channel 40
The meeting will also be livestreamed online at loudoun.gov/meetings, where the agenda and other documents prepared for the Board’s and Commission’s meetings are posted ahead of their public meetings. Video of the meeting will be archived on the county’s website the following day.
