JK Moving Names New Vice President of Human Resources
JK Moving Services has appointed Andrew Doane as vice president of Human Resources, the company announced. He will report to Chief Operating Officer Chad Marston and succeeds Andrea Bunch, a longtime JK employee who recently retired.
Doane joins the moving, storage and logistics company after serving as senior vice president of Human Resources at CACI International, where he oversaw benefits strategy and HR operations for more than 24,000 employees worldwide.
“Andy brings tremendous experience to our growing and multi-faceted enterprise,” JK Moving CEO Chuck Kuhn said in a statement. “His leadership will build on the great work of his predecessor Andrea Bunch.”

Doane brings more than 30 years of experience in human resources leadership across the corporate, government and military sectors. Before joining CACI, he held senior human resources positions with the National Reconnaissance Office and served in the U.S. Air Force, where he managed global personnel and workforce operations.
He holds a master’s degree in human relations from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Iowa State University.
In his new role, Doane will oversee human resources for the JK family of companies, including JK Moving, CapRelo, JK Technology Services and JK Land Holdings. Together, the organizations employ nearly 1,200 people, most of whom live in the Washington metropolitan area.
JK Moving has been recognized by the Washington Business Journal as a Best Place to Work and Top Corporate Philanthropist. The company also supports the JK Community Farm, which grows and donates fresh produce and protein to area residents facing food insecurity.
