The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred early Wednesday morning.

On March 25, 2026, at approximately 6:19 a.m., deputies responded to the area of Dry Mill Road near the intersection of Coltfield Way for a reported crash involving a single vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Luke Kinkel, 18, of Round Hill, was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
