Chamber of Commerce honors LCPS Superintendent Aaron Spence

Loudoun County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Aaron Spence has been named Executive Leader of the Year by the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce as part of its annual Community Leadership Awards.

According to the Chamber, the Executive Leader of the Year Award recognizes leaders for their contributions to the community. Dr. Spence was selected for his leadership of the school division and his work with students, staff, families, and community partners.

“I am honored to receive this recognition from the Chamber,” Spence said. “It reflects the efforts of our entire school division, and I appreciate the support of the School Board, staff, and community as we work to serve our students.”

Dr. Spence has served as superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools since September 2023. During his tenure, the division has focused on academics, student support, and preparing students for post-secondary opportunities.

The Community Leadership Awards recognize individuals and organizations for leadership and service in Loudoun County.
