Leesburg participates in “Heroes for the Holidays” Toy Drive
The Town of Leesburg is participating in the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System’s first “Heroes for the Holidays” Toy Drive, held in partnership with the Loudoun Career Firefighters Association Local 3756.
For many years, LC-CFRS has supported the U.S. Marines’ Toys for Tots program. Building on that tradition, this new local initiative aims to reach even more children and families in need throughout Loudoun County during the holiday season.
Community members are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages. Toys will be collected through Friday, Dec. 5 at the following locations:
- Town Hall, 25 West Market Street
- Thomas Balch Library, 208 West Market Street
- Leesburg Police Department, 65 Plaza Street NE
- Ida Lee Park Recreation Center, 60 Ida Lee Drive NW
- Leesburg Executive Airport, 1001 Sycolin Road SE
For those wishing to make a monetary contribution, please visit the Loudoun Career Fire Fighters Foundation (LCFFF) website. In the note field, please include “Heroes for the Holidays Toy Drive.” All proceeds collected will directly benefit Loudoun County non-profits supported by the Toy Drive and will be used to purchase toys for local children.
For additional information about the “Heroes for the Holidays” Toy Drive, contact Lieutenant Rob Boyer at rob.boyer@loudoun.gov or Technician Brian Beaulieu at brian.beaulieu@loudoun.gov.
