LCSO makes arrest in Sterling road rage incident
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest following an investigation into a confrontation on Nov. 5, in Sterling.
At approximately 4:34 p.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Arcola Boulevard and Arcola Mills Drive for a report of an assault related to a road rage incident. Deputies found one adult male victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
In the investigation that followed, deputies were able to identify and locate the suspect. Chaz Newman, 33, of Sterling, was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding and Abduction. He was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond.
