Public Hearing on housing & community development needs Nov. 13
Loudoun County will hold a public hearing to gather residents’ input on housing, homelessness, community development and public service needs in the community. The public hearing will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, 5 – 6:30 p.m., at the Department of Housing and Community Development, 106 Catoctin Circle SE in Leesburg. The hearing will be held on the first floor in the Olmstead Room.
The Housing Advisory Board is facilitating the public hearing as part of the county’s Community Development Block Grant and the HOME Investment Partnerships programs. The Housing Advisory Board is composed of members appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
Comments received at the public hearing will be considered in preparing Loudoun County’s Five-Year Consolidated Plan (Fiscal Years 2026-2030) and the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan for the CDBG and HOME programs that will be submitted to the Board of Supervisors for approval and subsequently submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in August 2026.
The CDBG and HOME programs, administered by HUD, provide funding on an annual basis for local projects that address a variety of housing, public service and community development needs.
The Department of Housing and Community Development will accept public comments beyond the public hearing and through January 31, 2026. To submit comments:
